We stayed here for a week in July and had an excellent experience. The staff are really friendly and their English was far better than my attempts at Italian. The hotel is relatively small but never felt crowded. The food was excellent and the choice was good given the size of the hotel. As part of the package guests are assigned sunbeds on the beach (right outside the hotel) which are yours for the duration of your stay so no need to be worrying about putting towels out to bag a sunbed. The sunbeds by the pool are also generally available if you’d rather stay there. The hotel caters mostly for Italian guests (I think we were the only British people at the hotel for most of the week) so if you want hotdogs, burgers, chips etc every meal then this won’t be for you. If you like freshly cooked food including different meat, fish and pasta dishes every day then you’ll love it. As neither of us spoke Italian we couldn’t really follow what was going on during the evening entertainment but we just enjoyed sitting with a drink and soaking up the atmosphere. The hotel is about a 30 minute walk from the train station- from where we were able to do day trips to Bologna and San Marino. Overall a great place to stay.
